Objective

The investment objectives of the Fund are to provide investors with:

  • Capital preservation and liquidity by investing in a diversified portfolio of high quality money market or debt instruments
  • Yield that is similar to or better than the yield derived by the benchmark
  • A steady flow of interest income

Process

Investments in the Fund are selected to provide an extensive schedule of maturities utilizing Federal and Provincial Treasury Bills, Bankers’ Acceptances, Floating Rate Notes, Corporate and Securitized commercial paper and corporate and government bonds to meet the investment objectives.

*As of September 1, 2019, the Highstreet Money Market Fund’s Benchmark changed from the FTSE Canada 91 Day T‐Bill Index to the Bloomberg Canada 1–3 Month Treasury Bill Index (formerly Bloomberg Barclays Canada 1–3 Month Treasury Bill Index). The benchmark change was applied from that date forward.
